Corrections are the most useful thing you can send us. Include the state and, if you have it, the rule section.
Corrections
If a number here does not match what your health department or licensed designer told you, they are right and we want to fix it. The most useful message includes:
- Which state and which page
- The figure you think is wrong and what it should be
- Where you got the correct figure — a rule citation or an agency contact is ideal
What we can help with
- Questions about how a calculator arrived at a number
- Where a particular state figure came from
- Pointing you to the right agency for your county
What we cannot help with
We are not licensed designers, installers, or inspectors, and we do not have a relationship with any. We cannot:
- Design a system or approve one
- Tell you whether a specific quote is fair for your site
- Diagnose a failure remotely
- Recommend a contractor
For any of those, your county health department is the right first call — the agency for your state is listed on every state page, with a phone number.
