Information we do not collect

We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, or payment details, because there is nothing on this site that asks for them. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no gated content.

Calculator inputs

Bedroom counts, state selections, soil types, perc rates, and everything else you enter into a calculator is processed by JavaScript running on your own device. None of it is transmitted to us or to any third party. Closing the tab discards it.

Some pages support deep links that carry your selections in the URL — for example/calculator?state=tx&bedrooms=4. That URL exists only in your browser and in any link you choose to share.

Local storage

We store one value in your browser's local storage: your light or dark theme preference. It never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time through your browser's site-data controls.

Server logs

Our hosting provider records standard web-server request logs — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent, and referrer — as an ordinary part of serving a website. These are used for security and to keep the site running, retained for a limited period, and not used to build any profile of you.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. We use no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics that do not set cookies and do not track individuals across sites. If that changes in a way that affects you, this page will be updated before it does.

Third parties

The site loads no third-party scripts, advertising networks, or social media widgets. Fonts are served from our own domain rather than a font CDN. Links to government agency websites are ordinary links — once you follow one, that agency's privacy policy applies, not ours.

Children

This site is intended for adults making decisions about property. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and there is no mechanism on the site by which anyone of any age could submit personal information to us.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal information about you, there is generally nothing to access, correct, port, or delete. If you have emailed us, we hold that email; write to us and we will delete it. Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have specific statutory rights — see our CCPA notice for how to exercise them.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
